Where I am from:
I was born and raised in Poland. After I earned a bachelor’s in engineering, I followed my heart to the USA. I only knew some English and my first jobs in America were as a waitress and housekeeper. Within ten years, I was a licensed CPA and running a financial and accounting department.
Who I am today:
- I have learned to follow my intuition; things don’t work out when I don’t.
- I am tough on the outside but soft on the inside.
- I resigned from a full-time position as a controller to follow my calling as a coach.
- I am a mom, a co-parent, and best friend to my ex-husband.
- Because I really struggled to pass the CPA exam, I am able to deeply connect with those who are struggling with their process.
Where I am headed:
The items on my horizon includes many adventures, such as building a thriving coach practice and becoming a leader to other CPA exam coaches. Of course that will require continued efforts towards positively influencing the accounting profession, through caring for the whole human taking the CPA exam. As for me personally, I always have room to improve on surrendering to the unknown, and trusting that the universe is abundant.
